Hi Auburn Mommies! And welcome to our group if you are a new member! We are glad to have you as part of Auburn Mommies. We hope you are enjoying the group, and will take a few moments to read the following guidelines for participation. (All members will receive this email upon joining and as a monthly reminder there after.) ~The purpose of this website is to arrange play dates and other events for our members, and to help everyone stay in touch and get to know each other between gatherings. Post anything you would like to talk about...it doesn't have to be just about playgroups! Moms need support and any topic is welcome here! ~Play dates can be hosted by any member, at any time; at any location they choose (home, park, zoo, restaurant, mall, etc.). To host a play date, please post the day/time/location to both message board and the group calendar. Every activity will be listed on the calendar, so check there for upcoming events and information concerning the event. ~If you are new, please introduce yourself on our message boards. Also, if you would like, please add a photo of you and your child(ren) to our "Auburn Mommies and their Babies" Album. You may also start your own album for your family! ~If you or a family member have been sick within 48 hours of an event, please respect others by waiting until the next event to attend. We want to keep all of our children healthy. ~When posting to the board, please observe basic rules of etiquette: *Keep your posts respectful *NO Spam or Soliciting for any business *Please help us keep our list a friendly, welcoming place for everyone by sharing your own ideas, experiences and opinions, while respecting those of others. Hi and thank you for your interest in Auburn Mommies! We require new members to fill out a short questionnaire before joining our group. This is just to keep everyone safe since members have full access to our website through yahoo groups. Please reply with the following info: Full Name: City, State: Email address: Children: Children's Ages: Reason for Joining: Where you heard about Auburn Mommies: Our playgroup meets twice-a-week for playgroups on Wednesdays & Fridays at 10:00. We also have a once-a-month playgroup on the 2nd Saturday of the month. We also have Mommies Night Out on the second Wednesday night of the month. This is mostly mommy time, but all breastfeeding infants are welcome. Also, we play Bunko on the fourth Thursday night of the month, and we are always needing subs.
